We can output resolutions from 300 to 1500 dpi. “Typical”, or the most practical, image resolution is 600 dpi. Don’t be fooled that all 600 or more dpi resolutions are the same. Our droplet size is variable, with some droplets as small as 6 picoliter!
A. That depends on the substrate that is used in production, the environment it is used in (moisture, heat, sunlight, cold), and how it is handled. Some materials are made to last less than a year, while others may be made to last 8 or more. One of the many questions asked at the time you order your sign is where it will be used? The answer can help our staff decide which product is best for your use.
Our process utilizes UV print technology, applied direcly to a wide variety of substrates. We print with drop-on-demand piezo, eight-level grayscale print heads. The variable ink drop technology (6 to 42 picoliter) combined with the printer’s screening method enable smooth gradations for photo-quality color printing when imaging fine detail or high-density areas.

A. We can print up to 98” x 165’ in one piece. Larger sizes can be tiled by sewing or seaming the sections without a noticeable seam. Substrates up to 2” thick can be printed as well. There is no practical minimum size.
A. Jobs will be soft proofed for your approval prior to production. We’ll send a PDF of the print file for you to approve copy, content and cropping. Critical color matches will be proofed via a calibrated off press proof, or a print off the actual press.
A. Turn times will vary based on the project scope and material availability. We’ll quote delivery dates at either time of quotation or when we receive your files, and adhere to those dates. A “rule of thumb” is to allow 2-4 days plus shipping for a project, but please note, most will be completed more quickly.

A. We’ll ship via any method you ask us to. Most common will be UPS, FedEx or LTL carriers. Size and weight limits for each carrier type will affect the decision.
A. All Pantone or PMS colors will be matched from 4/c tints. We cannot print spot colors as spot colors. We maintain a color managed library of achievable PMS colors to ensure quality and consistency. Corporate or special colors can be fine-tuned to your approval, and then archived and accessed on future orders. Not all PMS colors will reproduce to an acceptable color, and we will alert you when we feel it’s not achievable. Florescent colors are not recommended. If color is critical, please ask us to produce a swatch of the color on the substrate you need.
